Christmas Letters

Hello

Hello

Today’s post is about Christmas letter writing and giving something back.

If you follow me on Instagram you might have seen my recent post about the Christmas letter I wrote.

This letter was written for an elderly person who will be attending a community Christmas meal. These community Christmas meals are for people who don’t have family or friends around them and otherwise would likely not see anyone over the Christmas period.

The Happy Newspaper and We Are Kindly teamed up for this letter writing campaign called Kindly Xmas to deliver as many letters to as many lonely people as possible. The aim of the letter is to brighten their day and make them feel less alone. In my letter, I wrote about what I’m doing for Christmas, what I’m doing at work and my favourite Christmas food. What is in the letter is not the important bit but the fact the letter reaches someone who is alone and hopefully makes them feel less isolated.

I love Christmas it is definitely my favourite time of the year, but the only reason it’s my favourite time of the year is the festive atmosphere and that would definitely not be the same if I wasn’t spending that time with friends and family.

Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed. Have you made any plans to give something back this Christmas?

Bye, for now, see you tomorrow.
